Having a love affair with beer for over 7 years, and hanging with the Cider Wench on the side for five of those. It was suggested that I needed a hobby, on the sly I mentioned Home Brewing and low and behold, a wife approved activity. The only stipulation was that I brew Cider occasionally. Ah.... the compromises we make.
The Cider Wench:
After years of "nose-holding", the Cider Wench eventually traveled to Austria. While she still resisted the enjoyment of beer there, she was introduced to Hard Cider by the proprietor of a local Irish Pub. It's been a none stop quest for good cider, on tap of course, ever since. Combining forces with the Bearded Brewer in 2006, she has consented to learning more about beer while keeping her eyes peeled for that perfect pint of crisp cider goodness.
